Talented young Goalkeeper Ryan Clarke has long been established as Rovers’ number two. A product of the youth team, his first appearance on the bench came way back in 2000, although he had to wait until 2002 for his debut. The stopper regularly impresses in reserve fixtures and in his handful of first team outings has not let himself down. Ian Atkins’ offer of a 2 year deal should give Clarke the opportunity to stake his claim as Kevin Miller’s eventual successor.
