26. Lewis Haldane

Lewis Haldane is a product of Rovers’ youth system and the young goalscorer made his debut in the 2-0 Home win against Cheltenham in September 2003. Haldane scored his first goal in the first team against Doncaster the following week, although the game was lost 5-1. Rovers made amends in the following match, a 4-0 away win against Darlington and Haldane was again on the score sheet. In his first season Lewis managed five league goals in total and has been noted for his tireless work ethic and powerful shooting. The youngster has made rapid progress so far in his fledgling career, and it must be hoped that with the likes of Jamie Forrester to learn from he can go on to great things.
