"It was a fantastic result for us and I thought we deserved the win," said Steve Tilson.

"We played some good stuff at times and worked hard.

"There were a few scary moments at the death, but we still created our own chances and could have won by a bigger margin "We are down to the bare bones at the moment so this was a great effort from the lads against a good team."

Rovers boss Paul Trollope tasted defeat on the road for the second match in a row

"Everyone is disappointed because we had a two-week break and have trained exceptionally well," he said.

"We were fully prepared for this match but our start wasn't good enough and that's cost us the game. We made a lot of bad decisions with the ball early on and we didn't pass and move as we can.

"We only switched on when we were two down. We stepped it up and got one back but missed our chances to get the second."
