Atkins to make Changes?

Ian Atkins will spend this week deciding how to tinker with his fourth placed side following the 4-2 defeat at Leyton Orient.

Atkins called the defence 'embarassing' following the match so the recall of John Anderson could be on the cards, the Scot was a member of the side at the start of the season but was rested in the 2-1 win against Brighton and has been unable to regain his place.

Steve Elliott and Christian Edwards have been solid all season, so Atkins could drop Right Back Craig Hinton and return to a 3-5-2 system that seemed to suit the team better. Stuart Campbell has been played out of position on the left wing, and a move to 3-5-2 would see him return to the centre, and hopefully bring with him an increase in the ability of the midfield to retain possession.

Craig Disley made his debut as a sub against Orient, and scored twice in a reserve outing, this could put him in line for his first start at the expense of James Hunt.

In attack, Jamie Forrester finally scored his first goal from open play, and he will almost certainly be retained.

Alongside him Lee Thorpe was guilty of missing a string of chances and could be replaced by Junior Agogo, however if Atkins considers Agogo is still not fit enough after missing the last week of training, he may give former Aston Villa marksman Richard Walker his first league start.
