Bristol Rovers v Leeds. Brief preview

Last updated : 27 October 2009 By Simon Collins

Bristol Rovers will be without defender Chris Lines after he was taken off with soft tissue damage to his shin against Yeovil last weekend.

Aside from Lines, boss Paul Trollope has a fully fit squad to choose from.

Leeds keeper Shane Higgs is still out with a thigh injury so Casper Ankergren will deputise.

On-loan striker Sam Vokes will partner Jermaine Beckford as Luciano Becchio (ankle), Ben Parker and Andy Robinson (both Achillies) are all still unfit.

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope told BBC Points West:

"We're aware of the test that comes with Leeds. They're league leaders but suffered their first defeat at the weekend."

"They're not unbeatable and we've got to go with the belief that we can beat them. They've got a big squad with strength in depth but hopefully there are a few weaknesses that we can exploit.

"It's the ideal game after the disappointment of Saturday and with a big crowd under the lights it can be a night to remember for us.
