Coles out for Rovers

Bristol Rovers will be without defender Danny Coles when they entertain Brentford. Centre-half Coles will serve a one-match ban after being sent off for a second bookable offence in the closing stages of the draw at Oldham last weekend and James Tunnicliffe could replace him. Striker Will Hoskins, who was on the scoresheet at Boundary Park, is a slight doubt with a calf problem but boss Paul Trollope is hopeful his summer signing will be fit. On-loan goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen is expected to start after returning from international duty with Denmark Under-21s, so Mike Green is likely to be back on the bench. Fellow loanee John Akinde will be hoping to earn his first start for Rovers in attack since his switch from city rivals Bristol City.
