West Ham defender Elliott Ward has joined Bristol Rovers on a one month loan deal.
Injuries to Aaron Lescott and Steve Elliott plus Robbie Ryan's suspension has left Ian Atkins short of defensive cover, although Elliott was fit enough to face Cheltenham.
19-year old Ward joins the club with only one Carling Cup apperance to his name, but made his league debut for Rovers as a 90th minute sub in the 1-1 draw with Cheltenham.
