Lewis Haldane yesterday signe a new three year deal to keep him at the Memorial Stadium until 2007.

The 19 year old has impressed since joining from Trowbridge Town, and broke into the first team last season bagging five goals.

The former Southampton trainee has found it hard to break into the team this term and has been forced to make do with only two substitute apperances.

However, Haldane's recent apperance in the LDV Vans match against Barnet appears to have convinced Atkins that he has a bright future, and a major part to play in Rovers' promotion push.
