Late test for Hoskins

The 19-goal striker injured his ankle in the 1-0 win over Bournemouth and missed last weekend's loss to Exeter.

But Hoskins will train on Friday and caretaker manager Stuart Campbell will leave it late until deciding whether to risk his frontman.

Danny Senda took a knock to his knee against the Grecians but has recovered and should play, while Byron Anthony has shaken off an illness that has laid him low recently.

Rene Howe has recovered from tonsilitis and could be involved as Campbell has no other selection concerns to contend with.

Rovers will be grateful for anything they can pick up at St Mary's as they remain in deep relegation trouble, sitting in the bottom four with five games to play.
