Last updated : 31 December 2010 By BBC Sport

MK Dons will begin life without striker Aaron Wilbraham, following his transfer to Championship side Norwich.Fellow forward Sam Baldock could return to the starting line-up after featuring as a substitute against Bournemouth, but Angelo Balanta (also ankle) is out.

Darren Patterson continues to take caretaker charge of Bristol Rovers, who are back in action after a three-week break because of the weather.

Patterson has no injury worries for the relegation-threatened side.

Bristol Rovers caretaker manager Darren Patterson told BBC Radio Bristol: "It's a good stadium, hopefully there'll be a good crowd against one of the much more fancied teams with a much bigger budget and all that.

"But these are the games that the lads really enjoy and, apart from Sheffield Wednesday, we've done particularly well away from home.

"We'll show them the respect we show everybody, but my cup is always half full and I feel on any given day we can beat anybody and I truly believe that."
