Bristol Rovers welcome back defenders Byron Anthony and Jeff Hughes from two and one-game bans respectively.
The Pirates have a fully fit squad to select from, with striker Daryl Duffy likely to retain his place in the starting line-up.
Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol: "The players know the importance of every game, they're not stupid they know that results need to flow now and we can't have any hiccups at all.
We can not afford any hiccups - Trollope
"We don't want to focus on points totals, we don't want to focus on the league, we want to focus on the processes that get us performances.
"We know all about them (Oldham), their strengths and weaknesses and it's a game we'll go up there and look to win."
