Jeff Hughes, James Tunnicliffe and Danny Coles are all likely to miss the game with problems sustained in Saturday`s 2-2 draw with nine-man Charlton.
Midfielder Hughes broke a wrist in three places, while Tunnicliffe left the field on a stretcher following a challenge by Kyel Reid which saw the Addicks player sent off.
The Pirates are now waiting on X-ray results on the defender`s ankle.
Fellow centre-back Danny Coles limped out of the action with an Achilles tendon problem, leaving player-manager Stuart Campbell short on numbers for another crucial clash in the club`s quest to avoid relegation.
