Post match Brentford reaction

"Absolutely delighted with the second half but if they don't respond to being 3-0 down then I'd be very worried. It really grates with me that we've worked on this all week.

"We knew they were going to try to counter attack us with the two pacy boys upfront. Two straight balls for the first two goals and the third one Cleveland's not gone with the runner.

"Three of the most basic errors you could possibly make having been so strong defensively last week at Huddersfield.

"They've had four shots on our goal in the whole game and scored three goals. It's unacceptable."

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol:

"The hallmark of any team near the top of the table is to win when you're not at your flowing best and we've not been at that today by and stretch of the imagination.

"It was a great goal from Aaron Lescott. We worked on a few aspects that we thought we could hurt Brentford with and it worked almost identically."

"We know if we can get Chris (Dickson) down the sides of centre-halves he's got the pace and power to cause problems and he can finish.

"He knows Joe Kuffour off the pitch but if we can get them working a bit closer together and form a partnership can go from strength to strength."
