Referee Graham Salisbury arrived at the Memorial Stadium at 6pm and carried out a pitch inspection to see whether the afternoon's heavy rain had affected the playing surface.
The excess surface water has seen the game postponed for the second time after the original tie, slated for December 4, was called off due to the freezing weather conditions.
