Rovers reach agreement with keeper

Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope is close to signing an unnamed goalkeeper as he continues to reshape his squad. Trollope is also still in the hunt for a central defender and a striker ahead of the start of the 2010/11 npower League One campaign. He told the club's official website: "We have reached an agreement with a goalkeeper but are not able to give any more details at the moment as we are in the final stages of dealing with all the necessary paperwork. "It may take a few days, and might not be until next week, before we can make an announcement but we are confident the agreement is in place and a new keeper will be joining us." On other transfer activity, Trollope added: "It doesn't mean we have stopped looking for other players to add to the squad. We have moved through our list of priorities and it's been well documented as to which positions we need to add to. "We still need a central defender to add to competition for places and we also need a big striker and now we will be turning our attention to filling those positions."
