Rovers v Exeter. Brief preview

Last updated : 01 December 2009 By Simon Collins

Exeter right-back Steve Tully returns from suspension and is set to replace Richard Duffy who was injured in last weekend's FA Cup defeat by MK Dons.

Striker Adam Stansfield may start after he came off the bench at Milton Keynes to score in his third successive game.

Loanee Chris Dickson could return for Bristol Rovers after missing Tuesday's game against parent club Charlton.

Full-back Carl Regan is available after suspension but fellow defender Aaron Lescott (groin) looks set to miss out.

"All of our centre-halves are fully fit and raring to go so there are options to change the personnel, said Rovers boss Paul Trollope.

"We feel Chris Lines has made good progress over the last couple of years and he's become a very offensive midfielder and someone who can drive games.

"In their first year in League One Exeter have won some good games and they've got a good mixture of youth and experience.

"Two consecutive wins at home have boosted our confidence and a sort of local derby under the lights at the 'Mem' should be a good game."
