Selection headache for Atkins

Ian Atkins has no major injury worries going into Saturday's game with Shrewsbury. Despite this fact it appears he still has two major decisions to make.

Atkins must decide whether to recall Jamie Forrester, who is yet to score this season from open play, or keep faith with Lee Thorpe who scored against Southend last Friday.

The other headache for the Rovers boss is to decide whether to play 3-5-2 or 4-4-2, if 3-5-2 is chosen John Anderson will come back in for Craig Hinton, else the former Kidderminster defender will keep his place. Rovers have played 3-5-2 for most of the season, however a switch to 4-4-2 over the last three games has yielded two wins and a draw, although the performances of the team have been questionable.

Finally Atkins must decide whether to include new signing Aaron Lescott in the 16 at the expense of transfer listed Dave Savage, this decision will be largely based around the ex-Stockport man's ability to prove his fitness. Craig Disley will again be hoping to make his debut as a substitute, but having been an unused sub for a number of games now, he may have to bide his time a little bit longer.
