Senda focused on survival chances

"It's a difficult one to take but other results have gone our way," the defender told BBC Radio Bristol.

"We have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and go into the next two games looking to get the points and see where that leaves us."

Rovers led with seven minutes remaining at Bournemouth and were set to escape the relegation zone before Mathieu Baudry and Steve Fletcher struck.

"We've dominated the game and are scratching our heads to figure out how we got beat," added Senda, who missed a chance to make it 2-0 when he strode forward and blazed over after the ball broke to him in space.

"I made the run because the game was so stretched. It somehow bobbled through to me and perhaps I had a little bit too much time to think about it, got caught in two minds and fluffed my lines.

"I should have done a hell of a lot better than I did, but there is zero time to feel sorry for yourself.

"Every single game we've been looking to go into and win and the way we performed and started against Bournemouth showed that.

"All we can do is try and win the last two games of the season and the boys will give everything they can to do that."

Those games are at home against Sheffield Wednesday and away at Colchester on the last day of the season.

Relegation rivals Walsall face Charlton and Southampton while Dagenham & Redbridge will play Carlisle and Peterborough.

Plymouth are two points behind Rovers but have a game in hand with a trip to Exeter before two home matches against Southampton and Leyton Orient.
