Trollope happy with Pirates progress

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope insists his side are moving in the right direction. The Pirates moved up to ninth in League One after a 2-1 win over Rochdale at the weekend and although Trollope is happy with their position he knows there is a long way to go. "The division is tight, but now we are looking upwards and want to make progress," he told the Bristol Evening Post. "We are in the top half of the table ahead of some very big clubs. "There is still lots to work on, but the three points were important after probably not getting what we deserved at Swindon. "It is good to have a clear week now so we can have a good week's training, make sure we work on the issues that we need to, and go up to Hartlepool next weekend in a positive manner."
