Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope says his side will need to step up another gear when West Bromwich Albion visit the Memorial Stadium on Saturday.Rovers have just returned from a trip to Scotland where they beat Greenock Morton and Partick Thistle.

Boss Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol: "It's another massive step up in terms of the opposition.

"They've added some quality, pass the ball well and are very good technically."

He added: "We're going to have to improve again as they'll be as strong as they have ever been, just going into the top flight."

The fixture promises to be an interesting one for West Brom goalkeeper Luke Daniels, who has just joined Rovers on a season long loan.

"Luke has made good impression already with a good performance at Partick. He showed a lot of the good attributes that we know he has and it will be good for him to get in front of the home crowd."
